A rare opportunity to hear from one of the most renowned experts on Iran, Professor David Menashri, Director of the Center for Iranian Studies. For those in the Denver Community, Professor Menashri is personally known through the generous support of the Denver Merage Family to his center. Director of the Center for Iranian Studies, Dean of Special Programs, Incumbent of the Parviz and Pouran Nazarian, Chair for Modern Iranian Studies, and Professor at the Department of Middle Eastern and African History. David Menashri has been a visiting Fulbright scholar at both Princeton and Cornell University and, among others, a visiting scholar at the University of Chicago, Melbourne University, the University of Munich and Waseda (Tokyo). In the late 1970s he spent two years conducting research and field studies in Iranian universities on the eve of the Islamic Revolution.
